The teams have to “pick their poison” right off the bat, Wes Welker is not deemed Kardashian-worthy, and the Pub Trivia guys show off their golf knowledge as the teams trade leads in the 4th quarter.

Markkus hosts his very first game, in which Eric & Scott team up against Josh and Equipment Manager Doug Behrend. In this game Scott reveals his Benchwarmers contract, Josh turns into an Owl in both the 1st AND 2nd quarter, and Markkus tries chasing waterfalls during halftime. Also, a lucky answer might FINALLY work during the 4th Quarter.

Guest Sam Mitchell joined the bench and teamed up with Scott to play an Eric-hosted episode against Dan & Matt. The two Minnesota guys pointed out the connection between Sam Mitchell the player and the pro basketball player, Eric tries a new tailgate format that some like and some don't, both teams struggle with a missing link that only cookie lovers would appreciate, and both teams have some very interesting discussions regarding a Japanese guillotine.

In it, we learned the ages of some athletes, Manny Pacquiao's political career may eclipse his fighting career, Scott likes all sorts of Commodores, and a 3rd quarter Pick & Roll round tightens the game up like it was designed to.

Equipment Manager Mike Khoury joins the Bench once again to team up with Markkus against Scott and Josh. Josh gives a detailed explanation of the Minnesota version of a children’s game, Lynn Dickey seems to come up once again, Markkus tells everyone his favorite Gatorade flavor of all-time, and Scott and Markkus really enjoy the Missing Link theme (while Josh most certainly does not).

Kyle Kondor of Jomboy Media was the guinea pig used to test a new game style for the BTP called Home Court Advantage. In the game one guest faces two benchwarmers where every question is in the guests wheelhouse. In this game Kyle's wheelhouse was: The New York Yankees and NBA/NFL from 2005 to 2015. In this game we heard a lot about Phil Rizzuto, the teams got their Buck's confused, and they also reviewed every Yankee utility infielder they could think of.

Head Coach Brandon Reese rejoins the Bench to host this time, the Benchwarmer teams Eric & Markkus take on Josh & Mason. In this episode we learn about Augusta National’s various holes, a coin decides a question, Josh lodges a formal complaint and gets a case of the whistles. Also, Brandon almost gives away his Missing Link but it went unnoticed, and we get festive in the fourth quarter!
